PLANET EARTH REVISITED

Countless years ago, we visited planet Earth and planted the knowledge-seed of music, for all carbon based life forms to explore and enjoy.
You have listened carefully to our broadcasts each year, which guided you with rhythms and educated all that love to dance after sunset.
Earth has done well (as opposed to Alpha-Centauri who are still stuck with New-Beat) and many humans have adopted the art of mixing as their goal in life. We as the entity in charge of bringing dance to a galaxy near you, are pleased with your current state of sonic evolution.
But you have not yet learned all that is to be learned, so we will be back.

Geostationary Orbit is the kind trajectory, heading, speed and distance a satelite or visiting spacecraft might have to remain in the exact relative position above the earth surface. It is now widely used for Navigation and communication satelites. The idea of such a thing being possible was mentioned by Herman Potocnik in 1928 and widely published by Arthur C. Clarke in 1945. His vision of space and interplanetary travel have proven to be correct in many ways, including generating artificial gravity by rotating circular formed human habitats, "face-time" whilst making telephone calls and even the idea for the ipad.
